A new yoga music mix is ready for download. This one has a variety of sounds on offer with an overall very chilled out vibe.
It starts of with a good heaping of minimal ambient sounds mixed with ethnic vocals and percussion. It then slowly and steadily builds up to a harmonic trance inducing journey as some slow percussive beats begin to merge with the haunting chants and sitar backgrounds.
Some tracks of real note on this mix include Forests of Aryan by Guiding Spirit which I picked up years ago on a Spirit Of India compilation. A pretty hit and miss compilation if memory serves me right but this track I really dig.
A classic Makyo track is there from the first Ambient Meditation compilation released by Return To The Source. Makyo is busy working on new material across a number of projects so I highly recommend following him on Facebook to keep up to date on new releases from this amazing talent. For those of you who have been waiting for new Makyo materiel you can purchase two new tracks release this month via the Makyo bandcamp page.
And finally I'd like to mention the debut self-titled album from Ashirvad ( Darren Sangita ) who has masterminded an absolutely stunning album that should be part of any yoga music lover's collection.
